The Kent State Day of Service takes place on Monday, August 23rd, and it's a fantastic opportunity to make a difference and get to know others while you get adjusted to your new home!

New students will join returning students, faculty, and staff to complete service projects on-campus and throughout the local community. Projects range from writing notes to local elementary school children, supporting the on-campus Flashes Fighting Hunger food pantry, and creating social justice themed quilts to fundraise for a local community center – and more!

At Kent State, we are committed to serving the needs of the community and supporting the work of our local non-profit organizations. Together, we can make our communities safer, healthier, and more equitable places to live.
