Kedron Trapp

Kedron Trapp serves as the Director of Strategic Communication and External Engagement for the Design Innovation Initiative (DI) at Kent State University. After graduating from Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and Public Relations, she recognized her passion for the field of higher education and went on to receive her M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration & Student Personnel from Kent State University in 2016.

Over the years, Kedron has worked in several colleges and divisions at Kent State and comes to Design Innovation with nearly a decade of experience in philanthropy, alumni relations, social media marketing, and strategic planning. In her role, she is tasked with promoting the initiative's programming, makerspaces, challenge-based events, philanthropic initiatives and establishing strategic partnerships on behalf of DI across the university community and beyond.
