Hotel Talent Development Lead, NEOM

Aseel has a passion to inspire young Saudis; to encourage them and motivate them to develop themselves with a view to embracing a career in hospitality. Her role in NEOM (Saudi Arabia’s visionary Giga project on the Red Sea coast) aligns perfectly with this. She is driving the development and implementation of NEOM Hotel Development’s future workforce strategy, aimed at creating an empowered and competent pipeline of future leaders.

Aseel is a fluent English speaker with Arabic as her mother tongue. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management and a Master’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Kent State University.

Aseel has gained international experience in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and was part of the inaugural cohort of post graduate employees at NEOM which saw only ten high potential candidates selected from more than 12,000 applicants.

Initially Aseel worked within the tourism sector making significant contributions towards NEOM’s tourism strategy and the development of marketing collateral including audio and visual campaigns. She is now a key member of its hospitality team which she represents on an international level.
