Bryan Farson Named Superintendent of Norton City Schools

The Board of Education for Norton City Schools recently named Bryan Farson as its new superintendent during a special meeting in May.

Bryan Farson, 49, principal of Medina City Schools’ A.I. Root Middle School, was selected after meeting with staff and community members.

Farson has worked for the Medina district since 2006. He also served as principal of Medina High School. He previously served as an administrator with North Olmsted City Schools, and a teacher in the Independence and Maple Heights school districts.

Farson has a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University's College of Education, Health and Human Services, a master’s degree from John Carroll University in University Heights, and a superintendent’s license from Ashland University.
