Jamal Parker Signs with Canadian Football League

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed former Kent State football player Jamal Parker. The EHHS alum and defensive back standout joins the Canadian Football League Blue Bombers after four years with the Golden Flashes.

Parker played in 12 games as a freshman, appearing in seven as a starter.  Parker led Kent State in passes broken up and finished fourth in tackle during his sophomore season. He was named a team captain and started every game as a junior, finishing his career with 230 tackles, 28 passes broken up, and nine interceptions.

Parker was named to Athlon’s preseason All-MAC First Team Defense and All-MAC Third Team Specialists.
