Biography

Brian earned a B.A. (2003) in Education in Sport and Leisure Studies and a M.A. (2007) in Sport Marketing from Korea National Sport University, a Ph.D. in Sport Management and Policy from the University of Georgia. He joined Kent State University faculty in 2015. His overarching research interest lies in customer relationship marketing with a particular focus on sport fan emotion. More specifically, he is interested in examining the roles of consumers’ future oriented emotions to explicate various service evaluation variables such as game satisfaction, service satisfaction, and consumption behaviors. Secondary research interest focuses on contributing to measurement and statistics in the area of sport management using his expertise in multivariate statistics (e.g., psychometrics, multi-level modeling, categorical data analyses, and structural equation modeling).
