KSU Chapter of Club Managers Association of America (CMAA)
The Club Managers Association of America's (CMAA) KSU chapter welcomes all students interested in professional positions with country clubs, city clubs and more. Student members attend the World CMAA Conference, the National CMAA Conference and tour area clubs.
KSU Chapter of Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA)
The Kent State University chapter of Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) is open to all Kent State University students interested in pursuing a career in the growing meeting and event planning industry. Students participate in various fundraising events; go on tours of hotels, conference and convention centers; listen to industry leaders; and attend the annual convention that provides networking and career opportunities.
Flashes Fighting Hunger
The Flashes Fighting Hunger Project is a national organization that provides healthy meals to those in need by harnessing the spirit of student volunteerism within local communities. Flashes Fighting Hunger operates on over 30 university and high school campuses.
KSU Chapter of Eta Sigma Delta (ESD)
ESD is an international honors society that recognizes exceptional academic achievement among hospitality and tourism students. The KSU Chapter of ESD was established in 2011. Every year, the chapter holds an induction ceremony in addition to one significant activity that could be a research study, community program, seminar, or service activity.
Chefology
Chefology is a club dedicated to students who have a passion for food. Chefology aims to gain a deeper knowledge about food and a greater appreciation for it. Members will develop recipes, have dining experiences, and volunteer at local soup kitchens. This club is designed for students who want to learn, develop themselves, and help others.
