Dr. Cureton’s areas of interest and expertise include crisis and trauma; career development; and cultural competence and responsiveness. Her experience as an independently licensed professional counselor includes work in community-serving clinics, college/university settings, and private practice. She earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Northern Colorado and her Master's in counseling from the University of North Texas.
