For a $150 graduate credit fee to Kent State University and satisfactory completion of assignment, participants can earn one (1) graduate credit from Kent State University.

 

Registration Deadline: Now taking registrations through Friday, November, 13, 2020. Participants wishing to register after November 13 should email pd@kent.edu to be granted an exception.

 

Steps to receive graduate credit:

  • Complete and submit the registration form. Please allow up to 3 business days for processing. Online payment instruction will be emailed to participant after processing in a Registration Confirmation email.

REGISTER FOR CREDIT 

*Do not submit the registration form if you are unsure about the credit. Please email pd@kent.edu with any questions prior to submitting the registration form.*

  • Select six OCALICON sessions you attended at the conference. Complete the “Analyze, Reflect, Apply and Inquire” assignment for those selected sessions. (See Assignment template. Duplicate as needed.)

ASSIGNMENT TEMPLATE   

  • Select one of the six sessions from the above assignment, and apply the theoretical concept, research finding, or theory to an existing IEP, lesson plan, or community intervention.  Submit the revised intervention that demonstrates the theory in that setting. (2 pages maximum)
  • All assignments must be emailed to Dr. Cenker at mcenker@kent.edu by Friday, December 4, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. Early submissions are welcomed.

 

Official transcripts available after December 30, 2020. Directions to request a transcript will be included in the participant's Registration Confirmation email.
