Distractions

You've been adjusting to roommates, friends, schedules, different sleeping and eating arrangements and much more. As you've been exploring these responsibilities and adjustments, you may be slipping into some bad habits that detract from solid routines that you used to manage your day-to-day life before coming to campus. If that's the case, you should check your class schedules for midterm dates now. You may be surprised to discover that they are approaching much faster than anticipated — in just two or three weeks. If you find yourself behind or struggling, set up a more rigorous study plan now or consider taking advantage of the many student services offered by Kent State.

On the flip side, if you have buckled down and allowed yourself no time away from the books, make a little time for fun. A bit of a breather can help provide a fresh perspective as you dive in to prepare for exams.
