2022 BGSA Conference: Academia and Living History

Our conference keynote speaker is Dr. Felicia McGhee, head of the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga Communication Department. Dr. McGhee has 13 years of broadcasting experience including at the ABC affiliate in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she was a reporter/fill-in anchor. She has hosted “One-on-One with the Candidates,” a 30-minute special featuring senatorial candidates, and provided political commentary for “The News Hour with Jim Lehrer” during the presidential primary. As an active community member, Dr. McGhee has served as a panelist and moderator for “Minorities in the Media” and “Racial Profiling in America”. She is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Kappa Alpha Tau and the Alpha Society.
