CAMPUS KITCHEN PROJECT

The Campus Kitchen Project (CKP) is a national organization that provides healthy meals to those in need by harnessing the spirit of student volunteerism within local communities.  The national Campus Kitchens organization has engaged students for 14 years and supports kitchens at 38 colleges and high school campuses.  Kent State University is one of two Campus Kitchen Projects in Ohio and serves more than 18,000 meals each year.  There are opportunities to cook, deliver meals, and provide nutrition programming to clients at social service agencies, community centers, schools, and the Haymaker's Farmers Market.
