New First-Year Students Entering in the Fall 2025 Semester

• December 2024 – The 2025-26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opens.
• Feb. 1, 2025 – On-campus housing application opens in your applicant portal.
• Feb. 1, 2025 – Student orientation called Destination Kent State (DKS) registration opens in your applicant portal.
• Feb. 15, 2025 – Deadline to submit the FAFSA to qualify for the best financial aid offer.
• May 1, 2025 – Priority date to submit the $150 enrollment fee and commit to Kent State.
• TBD – Residence hall move-in begins.
• Aug. 14-17, 2025 – KSU Kickoff.
• Aug. 18, 2025 – Fall classes begin.
