Our mission

We support Kent State students’ right to vote by increasing voter registration opportunities, empowering students with non-partisan information and tools, and challenging barriers to students’ political participation.

Our goals

Through grassroots campaigns and contributions from the Kent community, Kent State Votes will:

• Provide all eligible voters in the Kent State community with information about the voting process and regular opportunities to register to vote

• Build enthusiasm among Kent State students for participating in local, statewide, and federal elections.

• Strengthen the knowledge of voter importance through responsible and ethical advocacy

• Create and execute a strategy for identifying and reducing barriers to political participation among Kent State students.
