Alumni Microgrants
Thanks to generous support from Burton D. Morgan Foundation, LaunchNET Kent State is offering microgrants of $500-3,000 for Kent State alumni
“We are excited to expand our microgrant programming to our alumni entrepreneurs, and are looking forward to seeing what projects and dynamic uses that they will have for these new funds,” said Zach Mikrut, Director, LaunchNET Kent State. “LaunchNET advising has always had an eye towards economic development, and microgrants are a tool for helping entrepreneurs to move on their goals quickly.”

The LaunchNET alumni microgrant program is focused on helping alumni entrepreneurs move their businesses forward with inventory, capital, product, or other related purchases.

Applicant must be a Kent State University alumni

Business must be based in Ohio

Open to revenue generating businesses with $200K or less in gross revenue
Thank you for your interest in LaunchNET's alumni microgrant program. At this time, we are closed to new applications as current received applications are in excess of our available funding. We will post updates if more awards become available.
Applications will be reviewed and awarded on a rolling basis. Applicants will be contacted for additional information and to setup a venture meeting with LaunchNET to discuss request.
Microgrants will be distributed through the Kent State University Foundation. Award winners will be required to complete a W9 form including business name, entity, address and EIN.
