In Kent State’s Exploratory Program, you'll be part of community where hands-on experiences and expert guidance from advisors and mentors turn your curiosity into a clear, confident path forward. Explorers learn about different majors so that they find the one that’s right for them – and then stick with it all the way to graduation. 

The Exploratory Program may be a good fit if you:

• Want to take time to make an informed decision
• Are ready to learn more about your strengths and build confidence 

Exploratory Academic Advisors and Exploratory Mentors work with you through advising appointments, career coursework and resources, events, and personalized experiences that can help you confidently decide what you’d like to study at Kent State.
