CSH Faculty-led Education Abroad Programs

Join Dr. Ward on this unique international experience and study the diverse ecosystems and nature of South Africa. You will have the opportunity to study a major biome in South Africa: the savanna.

This course explores one of the most influential legal systems in the world and its relationship to the global legal order within the context of American and European politics. It focuses on London and the United Kingdom’s relationship to the common law system, including an examination of its relatively new UK Supreme Court, the Royal Courts of Justice, the Inns of Court and their political significance in the context of the English and U.S. court systems.

Students will travel to the southern coast of Iceland to study and experience Iceland’s unique geological landscapes, innovative approaches to sustainability, and rich culture. 

There is no better natural laboratory than the Galápagos Islands to study the diversity of life, its origin, and functions. On this study abroad program, you will get a once in a lifetime opportunity to walk in the footsteps of Charles Darwin and visit sites that helped inspire his Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection. 

This study abroad program takes you to Japan to learn important aspects of its culture and history. You will spend time in Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara.

This exciting new Summer 2027 faculty-led education abroad program will allow students to learn about Poland’s contemporary struggle with the erosion of democracy in the context of global democratic backsliding. Students will go through three different Polish cities exploring themes central to this struggle: nationalism and identity.

This combined neuroscience and anthropology program will take students to Japan to explore the cultural and behavioral differences between different monkey populations in Jigokudani, Inuyama, and Kyoto.
