Imagine studying away in the world's largest fashion center! Shopping Madison Avenue and SoHo, strolling through Central Park, dining in outdoor cafes, viewing art at the Met or seeing a Broadway show. All this, while you earn 6-12 semester credits! Using the city as a guide, the New York City Fashion program is designed to immerse you in New York City’s vast fashion, arts and cultural resources.

The Kent State University New York City Fashion program gives you the opportunity to study for a full semester or summer, giving you the flexibility to work around your schedule and needs. While enrolled in our program during the spring or fall semesters, you will need to enroll in at least 12 credit hours and have the option to participate in an internship. During the summer, you will need to enroll in at least 6 credit hours. While this may seem like a lot of hard work, isn’t this the challenge you are coming here for?

All students will take the exclusive NYC Study Tour Experience course which includes visits to fashion, arts and cultural sites, as well as appearances by guest speakers from the industry. This course will provide you with a general orientation to the city and a hands-on experience of what it is like to live and work in the fashion industry.
