Marisa Stephens

Hi there!  My name is Marisa Stephens and I am a junior managerial marketing major with a minor in public relations!  I am currently an undergraduate intern in the office and am responsible for helping with special projects and am working on the Adventure Series! I went abroad last summer to Nicaragua on a service learning trip through Kent State.  I love Kent State University with my whole heart, and a major reason for that is because it has provided me with the opportunity to see the world.  
This summer I will be studying in Florence, Italy and have never been more excited for something in my whole entire life.  I am passionate about traveling and seeing new places and people, but what excites me most about study abroad is how it changes lives, especially mine.  I learned so much about myself and gained a new perspective through my experience and am so thankful for all that I gained through my experience. 
I'm a firm believer that whether you go 2 miles or 2,000 miles, there is always something new to be seen.  Studying abroad challenges you and pushes you to the best version of yourself.  Just go!
