The changing seasons are upon us, and the flu season has begun! Kent State employees and dependents covered by the Kent State's health plans are eligible to receive flu shots and other vaccines covered under their medical benefits. Please note that flu shots and vaccines that are not billed through the medical plan are not covered expenses. The pharmacy must submit the claim to Medical Mutual under the Medical Benefits in order for the claim to be processed and paid. If the pharmacist fails to submit the claim through Medical Mutual, the vaccine will not be considered a covered or reimbursable expense.

Kent State University’s Glauser School of Music announces the 2026-2027 Kent Keyboard Series, “A Season of Homecomings,” featuring a special opening concert with Giuseppe Guarrera, presented in collaboration with Piano Cleveland, followed by performances from alumni and current and former faculty. The season highlights artists with connections to Kent State and Northeast Ohio, including Daniel Milan, Cicilia Yudha, Jerry Wong and Donna Lee with guest collaborators.
