Faculty and staff discounted football season tickets are available now! Support your student athletes this fall and help make Dix Stadium the place to be on Saturdays. Discounted season tickets start at just $50 and include a ticket to all 5 home games, a Dix Stadium parking voucher ($10 per game without it), a Kent State Football throw blanket and access to tickets for the Kent State at Ohio State game on Sept. 19.

University Advising is pleased to announce the 2026 award winner of Kent State University’s prestigious Distinguished Advising Award: Jared Brown! As an Academic Advisor I in the College of Aeronautics and Engineering, Jared doesn’t just build schedules; he builds confidence. In the world of aeronautics and engineering, Brown serves as a steadying force, reminding students that an unplanned detour in their coursework isn’t the end of the road.

Kent State University recognizes and honors Golden Flashes who have made exceptional contributions in their professions, communities and at Kent State through their leadership, character and hard work. Sponsored by the Kent State Alumni Association, the Alumni Awards are highly prestigious honors presented each year to outstanding alumni, alumni staff, current students and friends of the university in eight award categories. Both self-nominations and nominations from the Kent State community are accepted. The deadline for nominations is May 17.
