  • As part of our employee wellness initiative, the Employee Wellness team is pleased to sponsor on-site 3D mammography screenings for our eligible employees Sept. 29 - Oct 2. In partnership with the Women’s Diagnostic Center (WDC), we offer annual routine digital mammograms on-site in April and October of every year.   • Kent State University Athletics, Employee Wellness and Health Promotion, Kent State of Well-being, Office of Sustainability, and SRVSS are hosting a bra recycling drive from Sept. 29 through Oct. 31 to collect reusable or worn-out bras and reduce the number of textiles in landfills. Bras that are in good condition will be donated to the Phyllis Zumkehr County Clothing Center, and worn-out bras will be recycled.

  • DeWeese Health Center will be hosting two flu vaccination clinics this fall in preparation for flu season. Upcoming clinics will be held on Sept. 25 at the Wick Poetry Center and Oct. 15 at the Kent Student Ballroom as part of the Open Enrollment Fair. Appointments can be made by calling our appointment line at 330-672-2322 or scheduling online through our patient portal. Walk-ins are welcome.

  • Join us Oct. 8 for Art Without Limits, a day-long event focused on arts entrepreneurship and developing an entrepreneurial mindset in the arts. Speakers will share their experiences and interact with attendees to hone skills and broaden networks. Guests will hear from guest speakers in the fields of theatre, fashion, art, game design, dance, music and marketing/branding.
