Join us Thursday, Sept. 17 at 5:30 p.m. in The Kiva for The Dolly Effect: A Legacy of Love, Culture, Education & Community. This interdisciplinary open forum explores Dolly Parton’s influence beyond music. Kent State faculty and staff will consider her legacy through the lenses of Appalachia, literature and storytelling, peacebuilding and LGBTQ+ communities, children and literacy, communication, and resilience.
