Benefits Office Goes Live with Freshservice on April 20

Starting April 20, the KSU Benefits Office will officially be using Freshservice to manage all benefits-related questions and requests. Freshservice is the same ticketing system used by KSU IT and will help us get you faster, more accurate answers while making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

Here is what you need to know:

  • The quickest and easiest way to reach us is through the Freshservice portal, where you can submit your request directly and check on its status at any time.

  • If you prefer email, just send a message to benefits@kent.edu as you always have. Your email will automatically create a ticket in our system.

  • If you prefer to call, you are still welcome to reach out at 330-672-3107 and a ticket will be created automatically as well.

  • No matter how you reach out, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know we have your request and are working on it.

Please note that Tuition Waiver and FMLA/Medical Leave requests will continue to follow their existing processes for the time being and are not impacted by this change.
