Planning campus events just got easier. University Events & Conference Services (UECS) has launched Mazévo, a new online scheduling portal designed to simplify the way Kent State faculty and staff request event-related services.
Through Mazévo, users can submit one streamlined request for:
- Event space
- Technology support
- Room setups
- Parking accommodations
- Catering services (available starting July)
“This new tool is designed to simplify the process and improve communication for everyone hosting events on campus,” said Tessie Shipley, assistant director of UECS. “We’re excited about the flexibility and support this brings to the Kent State community.”
The portal is now live at www.mymazevo.com, with a quick start guide available at kent.edu/universityevents/mazevo.
As the system rolls out, UECS will continue to add helpful resources, including an FAQ section and additional training materials. Faculty and staff are encouraged to bookmark kent.edu/universityevents/mazevo as a go-to reference.
Training sessions—both in-person and virtual—will be announced in the coming days. In the meantime, UECS staff are available to provide individual walkthroughs or support as needed.
