Presentation on ChatGPT and its Ramifications

The Kent State University Retirees’ Association sponsors monthly presentations about topics of interest to retirees, as well as to the academic community of Kent State and the public.  These sessions are free and open to anyone who wishes to attend. Javed I. Khan, Ph.D., Chair of Kent State University’s Computer Science department, will present at the next session about how the artificial intelligence application ChatGPT is likely to impact the university, as well as many fields of endeavor throughout our society. Dr. Khan will describe the capabilities of ChatGPT and the ways in which it can be utilized to empower individuals and institutions around the world.  The potential problems that may arise from its implementation will also be addressed.

This presentation will be held in the meeting room on the second floor of the Kent Free Library at 312 West Main Street in Kent on Wednesday, Mar. 13, from 3-5 p.m.
