3rd Annual Kent Green Energy Ohio Tour, September 28, 2019
FREE family friendly event: see green technologies in our community including renewable energy, green building and clean transportation! Multiple tour sites will be located throughout Kent State University and in the City of Kent, Ohio including university, government and non-profit buildings, and community residences. The Kent Clean Transportation Cruise-In will showcase energy-efficient vehicles (EEVs) including hybrid and electric models and is part of the Kent Creativity Festival https://www.kent.edu/kent-creativity-festival. Children and adults are encouraged to “Touch-an-EEV” and local public and bike transportation options will be highlighted. The 3rd Annual Kent Green Energy Ohio Tour is part of the 17th Annual Green Energy Ohio Tour that highlights sites that are using innovative technologies that benefit the environment. The Kent Green Energy Ohio Tour is a joint event co-sponsored by the Kent State University Office of Sustainability, City of Kent Sustainability Commission, and Green Energy Ohio.
