
Kate Dashner
Biography
Kate Dashner, is an accomplished Human Resources professional with over 20 years as a pro-active practitioner. She has consulted with Senior Executives to create HR systems to streamline operations and strengthen procedural consistency, including processes relating to compliance, staffing, on-boarding and orientation, policy development and implementation and management education. Kate has experience designing and implementing training programs in areas such as leadership development, employee relations, training and communications.
Previously, she was an HR Manager for two privately held firms, exposing her to multi-state compliance and the rigors of counseling management teams on wisely managing HR issues. Beyond U.S. boarders, her nearly seven years as an Expatriate in Europe provided her with a unique perspective on living and conducting business abroad.
Kate earned her MBA in 2010, which established in her a solid strategic business acumen. She is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Human Resource Certification Institute and an active member of The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), with whom she possesses a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential. She served as the President of the Akron Area SHRM Executive Board of Directors, and currently functions as the Northeast District Director for the State of Ohio SHRM Council. She focuses energy on remaining up-to-date on the ever-changing world of HR law.
