David Kaplan, Kent State University professor of geography, visited the Haeinsa Temple in South Korea, which he says is probably the best-known Korean Buddhist temple in the south of the country.The annual Festival of Lights event will take place Dec. 7 from 5:30-8 p.m. in downtown Kent. The event is an opportunity for kids and adults to celebrate Santa’s arrival by train at 6 p.m.
