Kent State University extends its campus community to the world of social media for information sharing, relationship building, listening and engaging in online conversations.
Social media platforms are used to extend the Kent State University brand and foster engagement with current students, prospective students, alumni and other audiences of the Kent State community with the following goals in mind: customer service, peer to peer assistance and communication and information sharing, including crisis communication.
SERVICES & SUPPORT
Kent State's Web Team provides guidance and resources for social media administrators, as they are building content, strategies, monitoring conversations and measuring success. Group training sessions are held on a bi-monthly basis. One-on-one support is also available to all social media administrators.
