UCM Social Media Staff
Nicole joined Kent State in 2014 after working as the Digital Media & Communications Manager of Hospice of the Western Reserve, where she managed the agency's social media strategy, blog, website and email marketing efforts. She is a Baldwin Wallace University alumna with a degree in public relations and a double minor in marketing and management. She enjoys playing golf, all things Disney, and her golden pup, Mickey!
Deanna joined Kent State in 2019 after working as a digital content editor at the Akron Beacon Journal/Ohio.com, where she aided the development and implementation of digital strategy for the newspaper. A legacy and alumna of Kent State, she's been cheering on the Flashes for decades. When she's not online Deanna loves to spend time with her family and friends, exercise and bake.

Rachel Kaveney - Social Media Assistant
Rachel is a senior marketing major with a minor in entrepreneurship. Prior to working at UCM, she was an Account Executive for Kent State Student Media. Rachel is a member of Delta Gamma and enjoys her community service at the Akron Blind Center. When Rachel is not working at University Communications and Marketing, she loves to be at the beach with friends.
Olivia Potunas - Social Media Assistant
Olivia is a sophomore Fashion Merchandising major with a double minor in Fashion Media and Marketing. She actively serves on the executive board for her sorority, Alpha Phi and loves to raise money for women's heart health. In her free time she enjoys working out, getting coffee, and spending time with friends. Olivia's dream job would be to manage the social media presence for any of her favorite fashion brands.
Natalie Steenbock - Social Media Assistant
Natalie is a Junior Fashion Merchandising major with a double minor in Business and Marketing. She is an active member of Alpha Phi Sorority, the Fashion Student Organization, and Order of Omega where she serves as the Social Media Chairwomen. In her free time Natalie enjoys working out, reading, and spending time with friends. Natalie plans to graduate in 2022 and her dream is to work as a Buyer for a major retail brand.
