KENT, Ohio – Kent State University’s School of Art will present a series of free public artist lectures and an exhibition as part of the 2026 Kent Blossom Art Intensives, connecting the public with visiting artists working across ceramics, jewelry/metals/enameling, painting, print media and photography, and sculpture and expanded media.
The KBAI Visiting Artist Lecture Series will feature presentations by artists participating in this year’s intensives. All lectures are free and open to the public and will take place at 5 p.m. in the Center for the Visual Arts, 325 Terrace Drive, Room 165. Free parking is available for these events behind the Center for the Visual Arts in the R19 lot and in the adjacent R2 lot by the Business Administration Building, 475 Terrace Drive. The Visitor’s Lot by the Student Center is also available.
The Kent Blossom Art Intensives Exhibition will be on display from May 27 – June 26 at the CVA Gallery in the Center for the Visual Arts, 325 Terrace Drive, Kent, Ohio.
