Depending on course availability and your school partnership, you may be able to take classes at a Kent State campus, online, at your high school or through a combination of options.

Some participating middle and high schools offer Kent State CCP courses at the school. These courses are taught by Kent State-qualified instructors and award Kent State college credit.

Choose Your Kent State Campus
CCP students can enroll through any Kent State campus. When you apply, you'll select one campus as your primary Kent State location. This campus will be your primary location for advising, orientation and student services.

Your primary campus does not necessarily determine where you take every CCP course. Your advisor can help you understand the course options available to you.
How Will Your CCP Courses Be Funded?
Before enrolling in CCP courses, you'll also choose how your courses will be paid for. Students participate under either Option A or Option B.
Option A
The most common choice
- Tuition, books and fees are provided at no cost to the student.
- Courses earn both high school and college credit.
Option B
- The student is responsible for tuition, books and fees.
- Students may choose to earn college credit only or both high school and college credit.

Whether you take classes on a Kent State campus, online or at your high school—and whether you participate through Option A or Option B—you are a Kent State University student.
That means you're responsible for understanding and following university policies, procedures and deadlines throughout your CCP experience, as well as considering next steps in your academic journey.
