Why did I receive a 1098-T form?

Kent State issues a 1098-T tuition statement to all Kent State students, including College Credit Plus students. Receiving a 1098-T does not mean that you owe tuition.

The form provides information that may be used when filing federal income taxes. Your electronic 1098-T is available in FlashLine. Questions about whether or how to use the form for tax purposes should be directed to a tax professional or the IRS.
