CONGRATULATIONS 
CLASS OF 2025

Dear Spring Graduates: 

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation. Commencements will be held for all degrees on the Kent Campus May 8-10 and May 16, 2025. Each graduate who RSVPs to attend commencement will be allocated 6 guest tickets, cross the stage, and have their name announced. 

The University Events Team will be on-site at the MAC Center, May 7-10, and unavailable by phone.  To reach the team, email graduate@kent.edu for assistance. Detailed below, you will find information to help you prepare to attend.

CEREMONY REPORTING

  • Doors open one hour before each ceremony.
  •  Graduates will follow the signs to report to room 153 in the MACC Annex for check-in.
    • At check-in, you will receive a card used to announce your name when crossing the stage, as well as an alumni pin.
    • After receiving these items, please proceed to the MACC Gymnasium to find your designated graduate seating section and sit with your college. When it is alphabetically time to welcome your college to cross the stage, ceremony marshals will bring you forward. After crossing the stage you will return to your seat.
  • Guests will report to the front lobbies of the MAC Center to get their tickets scanned. Once tickets have been scanned, guests will be ushered to their seats for the ceremony.

CAP AND GOWN

  • Visit the University Bookstore during normal business hours to purchase and take home the same day (doctoral rentals and fine-quality purchases require an order placed in advance). Reach out to the bookstore via email at SM8152@bncollege.com with any questions.

Each graduate who RSVP's to attend commencement will be allocated 6 guest tickets.

  • Sign In as Student / Faculty / Staff.
    • Use FlashLine credentials to complete login.
  • Select Commencement Student Tickets.
  • Select Find Tickets under Commencement Student Tickets.
  • Continue to follow the prompts to place your ticket order.
  • Tickets cannot be printed on-site.
  • Contact the Office of University Events and Protocol immediately if you need assistance. Office staff will not be available on event day to assist with ticket downloads.
    • All guests 2 and older must have a guest ticket to enter the ceremony venue.
    • Graduates can transfer tickets to guests by phone number or email address under their account on the ticket website and/or download them to an Apple or Google mobile wallet.
  • A live simulcast of the ceremony will be available in the Student Center KIVA for guests without tickets.
