Our first Week of Change for the Spring 2021 semester will focus on Black History.

While we sadly have a long way to go in our pursuit of racial justice, it's important to learn about the oppression Black Americans have faced and continue to face, while also recognizing the collective struggle and sacrifice that Black Americans have endured to move our society toward equity and realizing the vision of the Beloved Community.

Our Week of Change schedule contains events in different formats so that participants understand the importance of service organizations in the history of the United States, serve directly to strengthen children's literacy in our community, and advocate to their members of Congress through the sending of virtual postcards supportive of Black Lives Matter.

Our goal is for participants in our Week of Change to understand how they can best integrate action toward racial justice into their day-to-day lives.
