Lab Training Requirements (PDF)
  • All training is required to be completed every 3 years
  • Training certificates must be given to the Principal Investigator or designated worker to keep on file in a hard copy version or electronically
  • Training modules for the biology discipline (Biology including Pre-medicine, Bioengineering, or any other biologically related discipline)

      • Lab Chemical Safety
    • FlashTrain
      • Lab Safety:  Fume Hoods (41)
      • Lab Safety:  GHS-SDS Training
      • Lab Safety:  Hazardous Waste Guide (95)
      • Lab Safety:  Flammable and Combustible Liquids (37)
      • Lab Safety:  Autoclaves (77)
      • Lab Safety:  Centrifuges (79)
      • Lab Safety:  Moving Chemicals (87)
      • Lab Safety:  Spill Control (103)
  • Training modules for chemistry and other disciplines (Chemistry and all other departments including Liquid Crystal, Geology, Anthropology, Biochemistry, Psychology, Physics)
    • CITI Program
      • Lab Chemical Safety
      • Basic Biosafety Training (if biological materials, including blood, urine, tissue, bacteria, viruses, viral vectors, or any other animal or human specimens that might be potentially infectious, are used in the research)
    • FlashTrain

      • Lab Safety:  GHS-SDS Training
      • Lab Safety:  Flammable and Combustible Liquids (37)
