Benette Waugh DeCoux Named "Community Gem"

Benette Waugh DeCoux, a 1968 MED rehab counseling alumna, was featured as a "Community Gem" by the Dayton Daily News.

Benette once worked as a school social worker and a director of Head Start before retiring as an administrator for Dayton Public Schools.

She also spent 17 years as a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate for children and is a member of Twentig, Inc., a small sisterhood of community-minded citizens.
