My time at KSU's ASL/English Interpreting program was a major stepping stone in my professional and personal life. Not only did it prepare me for the real world of interpreting, but also for pursuing professional development through graduate education. The instruction and wisdom of my professors gave me tools I still use today to succeed. Even now they are still available to provide guidance, and that is a resource I treasure from KSU! My classmates and I also became close during our time together to create a support system that can get you through anything. Their mentorship program connected me with fellow student interpreters and taught me the value of sharing experiences to better the next generation of interpreters. I would not be where I am today without my KSU family.
