Programs in the School of HS include: Athletic Training, Exercise Science/Physiology, Health Education & Promotion, Integrated Health Studies, Nutrition & Dietetics, Speech Pathology & Audiology and Sports Medicine. A scholarship intended for students participating in the Athletic Training Program with a 3.0 GPA our higher.

The Rowan Family Graduate Scholarship in Speech Pathology

For a graduate student in Speech Pathology who is a graduate of the KSU undergraduate speech pathology and audiology program.

Eva Medved Nutrition Scholarship

Scholarship to support Nutrition students in the second year of their masters of science program or a graduating senior accepted into a dietetic internship with a GPA of 3.0 and above, shown financial need, work experience related to the nutrition field, demonstrated leadership on campus and in the community.

D & Mildred Lucke Scholarship

Scholarship for a student in the Nutrition and Dietetics major who has completed Organic Chemistry, maintains a minimum 3.0 GPA, is involved in extracurricular activities and has work experience related to nutrition and dietetics. A professional goal statement is also required.

Dorothy Lucke Scholarship Fund

Scholarship for a student enrolled in Nutrition and Dietetics with a 3.0 GPA, with demonstrated leadership and community service.

Dr. Rosemary Amos Scholarship

Scholarship to support students enrolled in Health Education at Kent State University.

Lynda D Gluck Scholarship

Scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of being at the Kent campus in their third year of study in the Doctor of Audiology program. May be applied to tuition, books and supplies.

Kathy Brown ASD Certificate Scholarship

Scholarship to support a student in the ASD Certificate program. Must be accepted into the Certificate program, demonstrate financial need, and have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Speech & Hearing Alumni Scholarship

Scholarships for students enrolled in Speech Pathology and Audiology, selected on basis of academic performance and financial need.

Nutrition and Dietetics Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship shall be awarded to a Kent State University student in their junior or senior year of study, graduating no earlier than December the following academic year. The recipient must have completed Organic Chemistry and is a declared Nutrition major with a minimum GPA of at least 3.0. The application must include a professional goal statement and supporting materials demonstrating participation in extracurricular activities and experience working or volunteering in nutrition and dietetics.

Mary E. Keller Scholarship for Nutrition and Dietetics

Scholarship for a student in the Nutrition and Dietetics program who has a Sophomore standing, at least 30 hours remaining before graduation minimum GPA of 3.0 and involvement in extra-curricular activities.

Florence Hellman Scholarship Fund

Scholarship for a graduate student in Health Education.

Kenneth W. Berger, Ph.D. Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship recipients shall be selected on the basis of 1. An Au. D. student enrolled in the third year at NOAC's program who consistently functions at the highest level of clinical & scholastic performance within their peer group. 2. Writes an excellent essay on the history of amplification or professionalism. 3. Demonstrates commitment to professional organizations such as: a) leadership of student organizations; locally, regionally, or nationally. b) presentations at local or national meetings (not necessarily on scientific or technical matters). c) active role in promoting the profession of Audiology.

Alice Elgin Fenn Scholarship

Scholarship to a student enrolled in the College of Education, Health and Human Services with a preference given to a student majoring in Health Education.

Dr. Wayne Sinning Memorial

Merit-based scholarship awarded to doctoral students pursuing their Ph.D. in Exercise Science/Physiology.
