The black squirrels are running wild - and so are your cravings for next week's Thanksgiving feast and your favorite dishes.

For some students, particularly our international students, a trip home may not be an option. Consider how you might help by learning about our International Friendship Family Program. One feature of the program encourages participating families and students to build relationships through occasional visits to the families’ home for meals, going on outings in the region, attending Kent State events, and spending special occasions or holidays together. Thanksgiving is one such holiday.

Or if part of your academic career has a focus on a second language, check out the International Village Experience, part of which includes an opportunity to experience Culture Nights (besides domestic holidays), such as Chinese Night, Turkish Night, American Thanksgiving traditions, American Halloween traditions, Holidays Around the World.
