Employment Verification

Kent State University uses uConfirm to help us better manage employment, salary and Public Service Loan Forgiveness verifications for our employees. Please use the following process to complete the verification for a KSU employee.


Kent State University receives numerous requests from third parties seeking verification of employment and salary history for current and former employees. Third-party verifiers, which typically request this information by phone, e-mail fax or regular mail, include lenders, property managers, employers, background check firms, social service agencies, even employees themselves.

In order to make the employment verification process more secure and improve workflow, Kent State University has contracted with uConfirm, a leading national provider of employment verification solutions that helps to speed up the verification process for our employees and verifiers.

Please refer to the steps below to complete the verification process. 

To Obtain Proof of Employment or Salary Information:

  1. View this pdf or visit www.uconfirm.com and click on “Verifier Login”
  2. Register to create an account with a valid email address.
  3. You will need the following information:
  • Employee’s social security number
  • Employee's full name
  • The name of the employer: “Kent State University”
  • Signed authorization (if requesting income)

If you are a government/social service verifier, please submit your request via fax to (404) 829-1336, or via email to verify@uconfirm.com. Requests will be processed within one business day.

Are you a new uConfirm Verifier?

Go to www.uconfirm.com and click on “New Verifier Login” to complete a brief one-time registration process.


uConfirm provides secure employment and income information to our credentialed verifiers (mortgage companies, lenders, pre-employment screeners, etc.) on behalf of your employer. You may view and control access to your employment and income information using uConfirm’s employee portal.

How to Register:

Visit https://apps.uconfirm.com/uc/ee/eelogin  
Choose Create an Employee Account

Enter the following:

  • KSU access code: E85C5B8C
  • Full social security number
  • Full name
  • Date of birth
  • Work (preferred) or personal email address

Click Create an Employee Account
A password link will be sent to your email address. Click the link to create a password and activate your account. 

Log in with your credentials.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness

uConfirm provides secure employment information for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF) on behalf of Kent State University. 

The process is as follows:

  1. Send your PSLF form by email to pslf@uconfirm.com.
  2. uConfirm will complete the second page as well as provide an employment report.
  3. The Social Service department will sign off as the authorized agent.
  4. The PSLF form and employment report will be returned to you securely via email to upload to the PSLF portal.
