When I sign into my Linkedin Learning account, it asks me to sign in again and when I put in my Kent State credentials again it doesn't work

It sounds like you connected your LinkedIn Learning account to your personal LinkedIn account after the migration from Lynda to LinkedIn. If you have done this, you will have to enter your personal LinkedIn credentials at the LinkedIn login page after you have signed in with your Kent State credentials.
