Kent State University Information Technology is hosting two virtual, Google-led training workshops on Nov. 6 to help faculty and staff leverage AI and automation for campus operations. The first session, "Unlocking Operational Power: Practical Google AI & Gemini Notebook," runs from 10-11 a.m. with Dr. Jason Hilt demonstrating practical administrative workflows within Google Workspace. Immediately following from 11 a.m. to noon, Google Solutions Engineer Chad Frerichs will present "Workspace Automation with Apps Script," offering developers, IT administrators and power users a hands-on guide to Google Apps Script and AppSheet. Both virtual sessions are designed to deliver immediate, high-value tools to streamline daily university work, and all interested faculty and staff are invited to attend.
