Beyond Compliance Training

Beyond Compliance (BC) is an initiative that provides annual training for Kent State faculty and staff. Since 2014, Beyond Compliance ensures that faculty and staff are fully up-to-date and aware of the relevant laws and university policies regarding discrimination, harassment and violence prevention. New Hire Orientation and Onboarding

At Kent State, our goal is to recruit and retain the highest quality faculty and staff. But, it doesn’t end there. The first several months are a critical time as new faculty and staff learn the culture and begin to contribute. The employee wellness team provides services and resources to support Kent State faculty and staff physically, mentally and emotionally. Center for Corporate and Professional Development

The Center for Corporate and Professional Development at Kent State University partners with area employers to meet your talent development needs with customized, contracted employee training and public professional development programs and certifications.

Center for Teaching and Learning 

The Center for Teaching and Learning provides support for instructors to learn about, implement, and engage in scholarship on teaching and learning practices that are student-centered, evidence-based, innovative, and inclusive.

Equal Access Academy 

The Equal Access Academy hosts trainings to increase your knowledge of accessibility awareness and best practices. All sessions are available to Kent State University students, staff, faculty and guests.

IT Training and Workshops

In-person and self-paced online learning opportunities are offered in partnership with LinkedIn learning, University Libraries and Kent State Online. Topics offered range from Microsoft Office, Adobe Products, literature searching, reference citation, online course development and more!
