Previous Thomas Schroth Visiting Artists

Since 2001, the Thomas Schroth Visiting Artist Series has presented guest artists respected in the fields of theater, dance, visual arts, music and architecture. 

Past guests have included Tony Award-winning composer Stephen Schwartz, creator of "Wicked," "Godspell" and more; Tony Award-winning actor Alice Ripley of "Next to Normal"; the Grammy-winning Emerson String Quartet; postmodern minimalist artist Richard Tuttle; artists and fashion designers Ruben and Isabel Toledo; the internationally acclaimed Ballet Florida; actor, dancer and arts advocate Ben Vereen; the Limón Dance Company; artist Nick Cave; architect Jeanne Gang; actor, director and producer Robert Barry Fleming; curator Darnell-Jamal Lisby; artist Keama Garrett; actor, writer and educator Kaja Dunn; and actor, director and choreographer Schele Williams, to name a few.

The Thomas Schroth Visiting Artist Series is presented jointly by the College of Architecture and Environmental Design and the College of the Arts.
