Promotion and Tenure
Each year Kent State University recognizes faculty members who have earned promotion and tenure. This significant milestone is a reflection of the remarkable work of the faculty. This year, 75 tenure-track and non-tenure track faculty members were promoted, and 24 faculty members were granted tenure.
Review of these actions began in the 2025-2026 Academic Year with all actions effective the faculty contract of 2026-2027 Academic Year.
