November has come and gone in a flash! The month of November featured a grand opening celebration, the return of Kent State football, some exciting awards and recognitions for the university, all with the backdrop of the season of gratitude. Here’s a look at our top-performing posts for the month of November:
A special Thanksgiving message for our Golden Flashes family generated high engagement on Twitter.
Another one of our most engaging tweets throughout the month utilized the “How it started vs. how it’s going” trend to promote the grand opening of the Design Innovation (DI) Hub. Formerly the Art Building, the DI Hub is now the center for collaboration and innovation across academic disciplines. This tweet earned 75 likes.
There’s no place like Kent State in the fall! We shared a video that highlights the beauty of the Kent Campus, which gave our Facebook audience a chance to experience it for themselves. This popular video generated 16,700 views and 390 likes on Facebook.
For the first time in school history, Kent State was placed on the 2020 Best of the Best LGBTQ-Friendly Universities by Campus Pride. The post announcing this award received 323 likes.
