Tax season is around the corner and with it will come W-2 and 1095-C forms. Electing to receive your forms electronically will:
- Allow you to receive your tax forms sooner
- Help Kent State advance our sustainability goals
- Save the University printing and postage costs
- Enter you in a drawing to win a $50 Amazon gift card!
Payroll and Human Resources will award two gift cards on Dec. 16 and two gift cards on Jan. 13.
To be automatically entered into each drawing:
- Student employees must opt into electronic W2s by noon on Dec. 16 or Jan. 13.
- Faculty and staff must opt into electronic W2s and 1095-Cs by noon on Dec. 16 or Jan. 13.
The Electronic W-2 and 1095-C Forms (PDF) guide will help you make your paperless delivery election and show you how to view your W-2s and 1095-Cs in Flashline. Please also use the Updating Your Address for Tax Form Purposes (PDF) guide to ensure that your address is up-to-date.
As a reminder, the W-2 provides information about your earnings and associated taxes withheld for the year. The 1095-C provides information about health care coverage offered by the university.
