20-Year Club
The 20-Year Club Service Award is an annual distinction established in 1966 to honor classified and unclassified staff employees who have dedicated 20 years of continuous service to Kent State University.

Employee Resource Groups
Consistent with Kent State University’s mission, goals and vision to better our society through meaningful voice, the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) foster a culture of respect, kindness and purpose. Members of all ERGs comprise of staff and faculty that work toward advancing the inclusion of employees with a common background, set of interests and goals.

Employee Wellness Programming
The employee wellness team provides services and resources to support Kent State faculty and staff physically, mentally and emotionally. Our wellness partners include several outstanding vendors and excellent collaborative relationships across all campuses in order to create a workplace environment that supports your personal well-being.

Service Anniversaries
The university recognizes staff employees for their service at intervals that are considered to be milestones in an employee’s career. These milestones include one year and then every five-year milestone thereafter. This program is intended to congratulate and formally recognize staff employees across the university.
