What is the purpose of an I-9 form and where is it located?

Federal law requires that every employer and agricultural recruiter/referrer-for-a-fee hiring of an individual for employment in the United States, complete a Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification.

Form I-9 will help you verify your employee's identity and employment authorization. You can find the I-9 form in the forms library on the Human Resources website. For more information, visit www.uscis.gov/i-9-central.
