
Group X Classes
Group X classes are instructor-led group workouts designed to help participants reach their fitness goals. These classes cater to any fitness level and are offered in a variety of different formats to meet everyone’s needs.
- Participants must pre-register for Group X classes both in-person and virtual. CLASS REGISTRATION ENDS ONE HOUR BEFORE EACH CLASS.
- Each class must have a minimum of 3 people registered 1-hour before the start of each class or the class will be cancelled.
- Register online, in person at the Guest Service station at the Welcome Desk or at the Fitness & Wellness Services Desk or over the phone at 330-672-4732.
- For our virtual classes, participants will receive a Zoom link upon registration confirmation and will be required to login to their account to attend the class.
- Participants can register up to 14 days in advance.
Important Dates:
- Demo Week: Sunday, Aug. 20 - Saturday, Sept. 2 (Class registration preferred but not required. First come, first serve basis for classes with limited spacing.)
- Fall Break Modified Schedule: Thursday, Oct. 5 - Sunday, Oct. 8
- Finals Week Modified Schedule: Monday, Dec. 11 - Friday, Dec. 15
- No classes on the following dates:
- Monday, Sept. 4 (Labor Day)
- Wednesday, Nov. 22 - Sunday, Nov. 26 (Thanksgiving)

Group X Membership
- Group X membership includes the following:
- Access to our in-person classes. Pre-registration is required for all classes.
- Access to our virtual classes. Pre-registration is required for all classes.
- Access to the Caravan Wellness app for KSU students, faculty and staff only.
- KSU Students:
- A Group X Membership is included for all students with an active semester membership into the SRWC on the Kent Campus.
- KSU Faculty and Staff:
- A Group X Membership is included for the faculty and staff person only with an annual membership. Faculty and staff members can ask to have this membership added at no additional cost at the Member Services Desk in the SRWC.
- Faculty and staff companions/dependents with an annual membership can purchase a Group X membership for $60/fall or spring semester or $50/summer semester.
- Faculty and staff companions/dependents do not have access to the Caravan Wellness app.
- Community Members:
- A Group X Membership is included for all auto-debit members (all individuals ages 16 and older).
- Community members do not have access to the Caravan Wellness app.
- SilverSneakers and Renew Active Members:
- Can purchase a Group X membership for $54/fall or spring semester or $45/summer semester (10% off the normal rates of $60 and $50 respectively).
- Single Class (no membership): $8
- Virtual Class Membership: $44/semester

A non-impact combination of cardiovascular and strength training that takes place in the deep end of our pool.AQUA SHALLOW / SILVER SNEAKERS SPLASH
